Called looking for used tire - and Katz had it! I probably called 12-15 places fruitlessly before calling Katz. My mistake - should have called Katz first. So brought the car in to get the tire installed - FAST SERVICE - in & out in probably 10 minutes or so. The second time I went to Katz was when I had a leak in my front tire. Katz checked it for free, clean, and reseal - all for free! They just won a lifetime customer!

All the reviews for this place sounded too good to be true but I decided to try out Katz Tires anyway for installing some aftermarket wheels that I purchased. This place is really as good as it gets. Fast, easy and thorough service from nice people for a great price. I bought a set of aftermarket wheels for my car and took them to Katz, hoping to buy tires from there and install them. They were able to accommodate my busy schedule and start working with me from the moment I got there. When considering tires, they gave me great options from various price ranges and didn't try to upsell me at all, instead providing honest reviews of the price ranges for tires and what I would need/want. During the install, they ran into a problem with one of my TPMS sensors but replaced it without hassle. I was in and out of there in an hour plus with a great set of wheels and tires for a fantastic price. They also cover any follow-up that could be necessary. Past that, they show enthusiasm for cars and their work, and are just a great bunch to be around. Truly a 5 star shop.

The reviews are legit. You will probably never have an experience like this at any other car shop. I've been here four or five times, all for punctures, slow leaks, and the like, and have never waited for more than fifteen or twenty minutes or paid more than $15 for their services. Twice I left without paying anything! Once, because it was apparently a "simple" fix, and the second time because they told me that I didn't need a new tire after Grismer told me I did, and sent me to Wheels Unlimited to check Grismer's work (oh, and if you need a good wheel shop, go to Wheels Unlimited, another cheap, quality auto shop). When I need anything tire related, it's always Katz. I just wish they did everything else.

I needed two tires for a vehicle I was planning to keep for only a few months. I was able to get two used, matching brand name tires with lots of tread installed for half the price I would've paid for even the least expensive new tires. I was in-and-out quickly without an appointment, although I did call ahead. Service was good - the tech listened to what I wanted and worked to find several used tire options for me to choose from. I even enjoyed a freshly brewed coffee from the k-cup machine in the waiting area.

Not exactly "warm and fuzzy", but they had me out of there with a great looking used tire to replace the one that exploded under my wife's supervision in about twenty, maybe thirty minutes. Quick, easy, and the job was done right. They were suggested to me by a local AAA service tech, and they lived up to the referral. Great pricing as well.

Recently, went in to get my girlfriends tire plugged. While attempting to park where instructed, I accidentally drove up on the sharp corner side of their lift blowing a different tire (this wasn't the that needed repaired) and almost destroying their lift with the weight of the SUV. They plugged the tire, placed a replacement tire on the blown tire and sent me on my way and did not charge me a penny. I went a couple of days afterwards to get another tire plugged (all non-related tires) and the service was great. In addition I called today to get a quote on tires for my sister and the price is 2/3rds less than quoted by others. Of course I'll be taking my Mercedes there in a month or so to get new tires as well. You can't beat the prices and service!! Great Guys! Really great guys!!

I moved to Columbus a few months ago and have since had two flat tires. It is hard to find vehicle repair business that you feel comfortable around while knowing at the same time that you aren't getting talked into some expensive repairs. The gentlemen here treat me so well. The first time I went they patched up my tire and sent me on my merry way and the fix was on them! The second time they let me know that I needed a new tire (a different tire went flat this time, the one they patched up originally is still in great condition and holding!) and didn't try to over sell me, the price was great! They also told me what to keep an eye in in the future and to come back to them if I have any future trouble. As a female, new to Columbus I appreciate the work these guys have done for me! and Service is always super speedy! A++ in my book!

I NEVER write reviews, EVER in my life, but I had to for Katz Tires. The ABSOLUTE BEST service I have EVER received. One of my tires went flat one night and I had to leave it at a gas station overnight and took a cab home. The next morning, I called Katz Tires asking for help on what I should do, because I have no idea what to do when one gets a flat tire. The gentleman on the phone was so helpful, he asked if I had any insurance that provided free towing to get my car to the shop, I did not. He then asked if I had a spare tire and jack in my car, unfortunately I did not have any of those. He told me to come to the shop and they would let me borrow a spare tire to take to my car at the gas station, there he would help instruct me on how to replace it through the phone. He apologized for not being able to send anyone out there to help because the gas station was far and they were short on staff at the moment. I was already so grateful, I told him I'll be calling a cab to take me ...

Not the best. The tires were over priced. 35 a piece for two 15's that didnt even match. They said "like new tread".... If only that was the truth. It was half tread at best. I will have to say NO to this business.

These guys were great. I called them to see if they had a 4 good used tires or 2 good pairs for my Volvo XC70. They did. When I pulled in, he told me my back 2 tires were good for a little while longer and to hold off on replacing them. I pulled in at 4:35pm and pulled out 15 mins later. Cost for a pair of good 215, 65, R16s was 75 plus tax. I will return next time I need tires and I hope others do the same. We need more good local establishments like this. I encourage you to give them your business

Excellent Service. I had a nail/screw in my tire, it's not flat a tire but potential danger.I went 5 different mechanics/tire repair shops and every one said that they can not fix it as it is close to the edge and I have to change all 4 tires as my car is 4 wheel drive. I was potentially looking at 1000 dollar expense for an 18 inch tires. I found online that this store uses plugs for repair, so I drove 20 miles just to give a shot. As soon as I walk in I found that it is 100 year old shop. Some one doesn't sustain for 100 years for no reason. The shop looks pretty basic, you can see tires all over. They believe in fixing things and not being fancy for customers. They don't have shed either. Ok to cut shot, I walk in there they said they have to look at that first. 30 mins later they said, your car is fixed and it is FREE. They found another tire which matches my other 3 tires (brand and ...

Without a doubt, Katz has made me a customer for life. They have done two tire repairs for me in the last month, both of which the service and price could not be beat. These people really have the best interest of customers in mind and are not just looking to make a buck. As an example, we were told that we needed a tire for a small SUV and received a quote for $294 from a dealership. Katz said they would prefer to repair the tire if possible not replace it so that treads remained even on the vehicle. Katz was able to repair the tire, charged us a little bit of nothing ($15) and were out of the shop in less than a half hour without an appointment. Awesome place!

You have to love a place that delivers great service at a great price. Katz is a no-frills operation dealing in new andused tires and wheels, as well as tire repair. The store is essentially a warehouse full of tires, a small office, bathroom, and a very friendly staff of tire professionals. I arrived with a roofing nail embedded in my tire. I was expecting to be pressured into new tire/tires, or at a minimum, a steep repair charge. Instead, my tire was repaired, and the bill was free of charge While I certainly expected a charge, I believe the goodwill Katz earned by this gesture will far outpace the nominal charge they would have collected. When the time comes for new tires, Katz will be my choice! Oh, I forgot to mention, Katz has a small coffee/hot chocolate brewer too!

Great staple of the community having lasted over 100 years and they give the best deals on tires in town, new orused. Their polite and friendly customer service is what must keep them going. I chose to go here after calling 9 other locations in town looking for a tire and only finding anguished workers.

We got there and they were very busy, they were quick and had friendly service.  We needed 4 tires for my big truck, they had the right stock size at a very affordable price. It was freezing outside and the guys there worked through it.  Very happy with my experience and will be going to Browns tire sales in the future.

I got ripped off this place sucks I will never go back there ever . I bought 4 used tires and rims from them .. I and was nothing but Garbage that they put on my car I went to Discount tires to have them bounce they could not do it because one rim was Bent the other tire had a belt busted inside of it and all tires were Mich Match and the wrong sizes ... So called Browns tires about the problem they said they cant fix this all tires don't have a warranty on them...So I went back there anyways to see if they Fix this garbage that they but on my car .. instead of them fixing it for free when I paid them 1st time. to They are rude about it and charge me another $50 Dollars ....Don't ever go there you will get ripped off

If you've got a second car that you want to keep running but don't really want to spend a lot of money on then Brown's Tire Sales is the place to turn to.  They've got used tires for just about any car. Tire prices are usually about $20 to $25 with installation.  I've used them a few times to replace old worn out tires for old not so worn out tires.  You can figure on getting in and out in about 15 to 30 minutes depending on how busy they are.  Service is always friendly and helpful with 3 or 4 guys working at any one time.  There's no waiting room or coffee and donuts here.  Just bare bones, grubby, get the job done and get you on your way kind of place here. If you are on a budget or are just cheap, go there.
